ABOUT ME
My Story
I’ve been a practicing Sports Therapist since 2010 and have a passion for movement and performance coaching. Over the years I've furthered my manual therapy skills with various certificates including Manipulative Therapy, Dry Needling, Pregnancy Massage, Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques. and Counselling Skills. I've also received industry specific training in movement coaching which is something I feel we can never stop learning about, our bodies are incredible and I'm constantly humbled by the wonderful people I get to work with.
I'm also a Qualified Pole Fitness Coach, as my other hobbies include Aerial Hoop & Pole you could say I'm a bit of an Aerial Arts enthusiast! I don't have a background in dance or gymnastics so I find these hobbies are a great way to challenge my body in co-ordination, balance and strength. As I adore coaching of any kind, it was an easy decision to train as a Pole Fitness Coach through Spin City and Solent Fitness & Aerial Arts.
I've held a BHS Equine Coach certificate since 2005 and regularly competed on my own horses, so for my equestrian clients I am well versed in the challenges that many riders face in finding a therapist who understands their sport specific problem. I also had some great years working as a part of The Balanced Rider team, a rider specific physiotherapy service based in Southampton.
As part of my practice and philosophy, I strive to treat, educate and support my clients, empowering them to live better quality lives and continue in the sports or hobbies they enjoy.
My approach is a combination of both eastern and western methods. If you need a positive, energetic and caring manual therapist, please don’t hesitate to reach out to find out how I can help you.
